These are two half-grown leopards who were mostly annoying their mother, who just wanted to have a mid-morning nap in the sun. The one on the top is the braver/bolder, more active cub – the other one mostly wanted to chew on the tree root they have their paws on. The braver one was exploring, up the tree and all over, and jumping on its sibling – annoying older brother style. To me the bottom cub is looking a bit long-suffering and waiting patiently for the other one to find something else to do.
The original background was very messy and distracting but I love the way the light falls on the animals, so I decided to replace the background. The ducks and the tree are also from Chobe.
